This is the home page of the Sally project. Sally is a suite of free software, written in Java, designed to help church bell ringers to learn methods and improve their ringing skills. Currently, the main program under development is ShowLine, a line-drawing program that takes a method’s place notation and displays its line, along with bobs and singles. However, work is also being done on a ‘ringing simulator’ that provides audio output and a visual representation of bells ringing. For more information on ShowLine, including screenshots and a feature list, see the ShowLine page.
